Update
I'm keeping it short tonight because i have an incoming call in about 3 minutes. The same old same has been happening. Liberals pissing me off, the bible thumpers are losing numbers while athiest numbers rise world wide. I'm not even kidding about the last one kids. The atheists are taking over. I over heard more then one conversation in my grandparents church about how they think the church is going to fold within the next 45 years if it doesn't make a complete turn around. For an atheist, it's comforting, for those who arn't, the noose is getting tighter and tighter. Anyways, i'll get back into this tomorrow.

It makes sense. Religion has gone extremely downhill over the years, and doesn't hold the same meaning it once did -- all we have now are lunatic suicide bombers that kill hundreds of people because "their God" wanted them to.
But to say religion is going to be completely defunct is sort of bold in itself, as well. Religion is always going to be around (unfortunately), in some form or another. Atheism is on the rise, though. Those wacky teenagers trying to "find themselves" figure the best way of self-expression is to trash a God they feel doesn't exist. They give the term Atheism a bad name.
Haha. It's like in Dogma (reforming of the Church, that is). Good movie, check it out. The Buddy Christ says "Heeeeeeey!"
i just like how ive heard kevin say many a time the simple phrase " oh my god"... weird how being an athiest means u have no god, no religion, so how is it that u can say that? ur kind of contradicting urself..
Or it can be that Kevin has picked up slang and many phrases from mainstream society, like an teenager has. I can still say "Jesus Christ!" or, "Oh my God!" and still be an Atheist. Don't be so cynical; you're over-examining a simple issue such as a phrase. I can shout "Praise Allah!" and have no aficionado with Middle-Eastern religion.

kevin is very malleable. he finds it very difficult to find his own in the world of rock and roll.
